It’s a cat, it’s a nebula, it’s a cosmos cat figurine which can be used as a brush or chopstick rest. After hand sculpting this piece in my pottery studio, I decided to do something different and glazed it with my favorite combo of the moment. This glazes make the most whimsical and deep color mix of dark blues, greens and an overall pearlescent shine. I added gold for details like the eyes, nose and a few constellations, plus tiny mother of pearl triangles inside the ears. And after a few hours in a kiln, here is a one of a kind porcelain cat. Whether decorative or useful, this piece will bring joy to the star enthusiast and the cat lover. And most people who like tiny shiny things !
